About me

Rachael Leslie – Science and Maths Tutor

I graduated in 2008 from Exeter University with a degree in Biological sciences, specialising in Biochemistry and Microbiology. I then carried out a Chemistry conversion course and qualified as a Chemistry Teacher from the UCL Institute of Education.

After qualifying in 2010, I taught in Surrey Schools until I left teaching in 2017 after having my daughter.

As a teacher I taught A level Chemistry and Biology, GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), GCSE Maths and KS3 Science, Maths and ICT. In addition to this, I was the head of Science BTEC, a form tutor and a sixth form tutor.

I have been running a successful tutoring business since 2017 where I have helped a large number of students to grow in confidence and enjoyment in their subjects as well as improving their exam grades.
